# Privacy Policy — Clock Trakr

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use Clock Trakr.

## 1. Scope

This policy applies to the Clock Trakr iOS app, our marketing site (including clocktimetrakr.web.app), and the API that powers online workspaces. By using Clock Trakr you acknowledge this policy.

## 2. Information we collect

### Account information
- Name, email address, and password (stored hashed; we do not store plain-text passwords)
- Plan tier and subscription status
- Legal acceptance timestamps for Privacy and Terms versions

### Work content you create
- Customers (individual or company profiles, contacts, addresses, and optional codes)
- Jobs under each customer (including the default “General” job)
- Time entries (clock in/out, breaks, notes)
- Notes, material costs, mileage, invoices, quotes, and related documents
- Worker invitations, memberships, and permission settings (Manager plans)

### Device and technical data
- A device identifier used for free-tier document limits and linking a phone to a paid workspace
- App version, device type / OS (as provided by the platform)
- IP address and basic request logs for security and abuse prevention
- Authentication session identifiers (refresh tokens stored hashed on our servers)

### Payments
- Apple subscription product identifiers and transaction / original transaction identifiers when you subscribe
- We do **not** receive or store full payment card numbers; Apple processes App Store billing

We do **not** sell your personal information.

## 3. How we use information

- Provide and operate Clock Trakr (authentication, sync, documents, worker collaboration)
- Enforce plan limits and provision online workspaces after subscription
- Process and verify Apple In-App Purchases
- Improve reliability, security, and customer support
- Comply with law and protect against fraud or abuse
- Send service-related notices (security, billing, policy updates)

## 4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where required (for example under GDPR), we process data to perform our contract with you, based on your consent (where requested), and for legitimate interests such as securing the service—balanced against your rights.

## 5. Sharing

We share data only with:

- **Infrastructure providers** (for example Firebase / Google Cloud) that process data on our instructions
- **Apple** for App Store subscription billing
- **Other Clock Trakr users you authorize** — managers and workers you invite can see customer data according to the permissions you grant
- **Legal authorities** when required by law or to protect rights and safety

We do not share your data with advertisers for their independent marketing.

## 6. On-device / guest use

If you continue without an account, customer and time data stay on your device until you sign in or subscribe. A device id may still contact our servers for free document quota. Deleting the app may erase local guest data.

## 7. Retention

We retain account and workspace data while your account is active. After a deletion request, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless law requires longer retention (for example billing records). Archived or soft-deleted records may be retained for a limited period before permanent deletion.

## 8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including hashed passwords, hashed refresh tokens, HTTPS in production, and access controls on customer data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

## 9. Your choices and rights

- Access or update profile information in the app
- Request export or deletion of your account by contacting privacy@devcon1.solutions
- Revoke worker access or leave a manager’s team
- Manage Apple subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Where applicable, exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection by contacting us

## 10. Children’s privacy

Clock Trakr is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

## 11. International users

Data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. By using Clock Trakr you understand that information may be transferred to those locations.

## 12. California / similar notices

We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined. You may contact us to exercise applicable state privacy rights.

## 13. Changes

We may update this policy. We will revise the effective / updated date and, when changes are material, prompt re-acceptance in the app via versioned legal documents.
